We start early in the morning going down to the wooden Rhine bridge at Diessenhofen crossing the river. From there we go river downwards in direction of Schaffhausen. To Rhine falls and Schloss Laufen we need to climb a small mountain. After our visit at Rhine falls we wii have a small lunch at Schloss Laufen restaurant. On our way back we cross the Rhine to Schaffhausen and visit the beautiful city. On demand we can also try to arrange a visit at IWC watch factory. On our way back we pass the little village with a very special character. It is located in Switzerland but belongs to Germany. due to this there are a lot of strange facts about this little village. We pass the medieval mountain chapel of Büsingen and later, depending on weather and time we can decide wether we go back to the hotel, or we have a drink at Waldheim (also a location with a special history) or have a rest at Gailingen beach.
