Meet and greet at Kinobe Airport by Orogu Tours and Travel representative who will warmly welcome you and transfer you to a hotel in Kigali. Depending on the time of arrival e.g if your flight arrives in the morning, you are advised to have money changed this day. To get to know Kigali, you can visit some of the landmarks in town with the help of our driver/guide. Places may include; the genocide Memorial site, the markets, Franco-Rwanda Cultural centre.
After breakfast take a two hours’ drive North of Kigali to Kinigi through the beautifully terraced hillside and the spectacular Virunga volcanoes. Overnight at your lodge FB
In the morning, you will need to go and track the primates like the golden monkeys, the baboons, and many others. Or hike the Dian Fossey tomb and the remains of the Karisoke research center. In the afternoon get ready to transfer to Gisenyi – Lake Kivu. En route visit the Mugabe Genocide Memorial Site and the King’s palace reaching Lake Kivu in the evening to relax along the lake shores. Dinner and overnight at Your Lodge.
After breakfast cross, Uganda via the Cyanika border to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest driving through the Kigezi Highlands a place formally known as the 'Switzerland of Africa' and catching your eye again are the beautifully terraced hillsides with the winding roads and the distant view of the volcanoes and lakes.
Time permitting you can take a guided nature walk in the thick and dense forest which is a habitat for many types of game, several bird species and beautifully colored butterflies. Overnight at the lodge
After an early morning breakfast proceed to the starting point to embark on your Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in such of the awesome Gorillas – an unforgettable experience of your lifetime. Don't forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch, and plenty of water. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend with them an hour before returning to your lodge. After breakfast depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha. While at Ishasha lookout for the famous tree-climbing lions. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. Overnight at your lodge FB
Today we have an early morning game. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a home of abundant wildlife with grassy plains, and volcanic craters. You may have an excellent opportunity to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, topi and bushbuck. Later transfer to Kigali via Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest lake in East Africa. Overnight at your lodge FB
